Description: Renovate space on the 2nd floor to provide additional office space.

Status: The renovations have begun.  The completion is scheduled for mid-October.

Impacts: There will be some noise and construction activity within the building.

Description:  Replacement of 50' of sidewalk outside of the building to eliminate tripping hazards.

Status: Work is expected to be complete during the week of September 29th.

Impacts:  A 50' portion of the sidewalk will be closed during the work.

Description:  The passenger elevator will be modernized.  (This is the elevator that is currently out of service.)

Status:  The new equipment has been ordered.  On-site work is scheduled to begin in October.  The elevator is scheduled to be back in service in April 2026.

Impacts:  The passenger elevator will remain out of service until the modernization is complete.  The freight elevator will remain in services during the project.  There will be some noise and construction activity within the building when on-sire work begins.

Description: A new Chemistry lab will be constructed in Park 276 Suite.

Status: The project has been awarded.  On-site construction is schedule to being in late October with an anticipated completion schedule of mid to late May 2026.

Impact: There will be some noise and construction activity in the general area of the Suite.

Status: The renovations have begun.  The work is scheduled to be completed in mid-October.

Impacts: There will be some noise and construction activity within the building.

Description: We have constructed scaffolding on the west side (the valley side) of Goodhart Hall to inspect and address masonry & roof issues at the Spire.

Status: The project is underway and is scheduled to be completed in September.

Impacts: Impacts will be minimal.

Description: Replace the current switch with a code compliant switch and respacing the oldest underground cable on campus. This will improve reliability and will minimize the impact of future maintenance and construction by allowing for the isolation of segments of the loop.

Status: The equipment has been ordered.  Site work was completed over the summer.  The site has been restored for the semester.  Installation of the equipment is scheduled for Spring 2026. 

Impacts:  None at this time. 

Description:  The College will be restoring the historic exterior door set facing Goodhart Hall leading onto the Rhys Carpenter roof.

Status:  The temporary door has been installed.  The historic doors are being restored off site.  The work will continue on and off over the month of August & September to prepare the opening for the arrival of the restored door in late October.

Impact:  There will be minimal if any impact.

Description: The phased renovation of Park Science Complex.

Status: The phased construction is complete.  We are working on refreshing common areas and punch list items.

 Impact: Minimal disruptions as punch list items are addressed.

Description: We will be repairing the pedestal roof patio to eliminate wobbling and trip hazards.

Status: Work will be performed over Fall Break (week of October 13th).

Impacts: The ADA entrance will be closed off for a small portion of the work.

Description: Lead paint is being removed from the exterior of the building.  The woodwork will then be repainted.

Status: Removal has begun.  The project is scheduled for completion in mid-November.

Impacts: Impact to the campus community will be minimal.
