11:03 am Harassment / Communication Campus Safety

A student entered Campus Safety to report harassing text messages from a person they met on a dating app. Lower Merion Police were contacted to assist.

8:09 am Medical Response Health Center

A student dining worker cut their finger. A friend transported them the Urgent Care for treatment.

Tuesday, October 7

2:53 pm Medical Transport Pem East

A student experienced an electrical shock when plugging in a cord. The student was transported to ºÚÁÏÉçÇø Hospital for evaluation.

4:15 pm Medical Response Taft Garden

A student injured their ankle missing a step while walking to the garden. A friend transported them to Urgent Care for treatment.

4:43 pm Fraud Campus Safety

A student reported that she responded to an email scam. Campus Safety assisted the student, notified the LITS Department and it is under investigation.

Thursday, October 9

9:55 pm Fire Alarm Pem East

A student was using an electrical kettle to heat water causing the activation. Referred.

Friday, October 10

9:30 am Fire Alarm Rhoads South

A student was using a steam iron which caused the activation. The alarm system was reset.

Friday, October 10

4:33 pm Information Received Campus Safety

A student reported that their cell phone alerted their location was air tagged. The student was advised to contact Apple, and they were advised it was a glitch, and the air tag was no longer with them.

Saturday, October 11

1:25 am Suspicious Odor Merion

An odor of marijuana was reported. The student was identified and referred.

There were no other significant incidents to report.
