What's Changing with Workday: HR and Hiring Processes

Many campus processes will move into Workday, and others will look a little different depending on your role on campus. We're here to walk you through each one. Next up: HR and staffing processes.

What is Changing:

  • Hiring and Recruiting
    All hiring — including employees and student workers — will now happen directly in Workday. This reduces manual work for hiring managers and HR (no more JobX!) and makes the journey from applicant to candidate to new employee flow efficiently.
  • New Employee Onboarding
    Workday brings all onboarding steps together in one place. New hires can complete their tasks, review policies, and get to know the College all in one system for a smooth and welcoming start.
  • Benefits Elections
    Say goodbye to paper forms! Benefits enrollment is moving completely online. You'll make your elections directly in Workday; updates will be efficient and transparent, giving you confidence that your benefits are accurate and up to date.
  • Org Chart Visibility
    No more guessing who reports to whom — Workday offers an easy-to-navigate org chart that lets you explore departments and reporting lines in real time. You’ll be able to quickly see where you fit within the organization and who to contact for support.
